Updating Jot+ Notes

Updating from one version of Jot+ Notes to the newest version is actually pretty straightforward.

If you are currently using Jot+ Notes 2.x, you should uninstall it first. If you are updating from another Jot+ Notes 3.x version, you do not need to uninstall that release.
Download the current version of Jot+ Notes, which can be found in the files area. We always recommend that you use the most recent version available.
Run the Jot+ Notes setup. Selections made for previous installs (such as what components to install) will be used as defaults for the new install.

Preferences and Notefiles

Your preferences are preserved when updating.

Your personal notefiles will not be touched when uninstalling or updating Jot+ Notes; the only notefiles that might be changed are the sample files distributed with Jot+ Notes.
