New Pricing Policy

From 1st October 2006, all King Stairs Software products will be priced only in US Dollars (US$).

Published prices in Pound Sterling and Euros (such as those in the help files) are no longer valid.

Why The Change?

Over the last year, the US Dollar's value against other currencies has fluctuated considerably. For example, the British Sterling exchange rate has ranged $1.70-1.91 over the last 12 months, a 22-cent spread. These fluctuations make it difficult to set a fixed price in other currencies that is both fair to the customer and to King Stairs Software.

Switching to a single currency simplifies matters for all involved.

Can I Still Pay In Sterling or Euros?

YES. We will still quote prices and accept payments in those currencies.

If you purchase online with a credit or debit card, your bank or card vendor will handle the currency exchange for you: The transaction will show up on your statement in your home currency. Some banks charge for foreign transactions (usually hidden in the exchange rate), so check your card's documentation for details.

If you plan to pay by cheque, money/postal order or purchase order please contact us beforehand for a quotation.

What About Other Currencies?

In general, we are happy to quote prices and accept payments in most major (hard) currencies.

Please contact us for a quotation in your preferred currency.
