Windows XP Service Pack 2 Compatability
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) includes new security and protection features designed to prevent hackers from exploiting weaknesses in Windows XP. It is generally recommended that all Windows XP users update to SP2 at their earliest convenience to take advantage of the security improvements.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, it appears that some users are having problems with SP2 while others are not. Some of the issues are simple application configuration issues, others relate to changes in SP2, and of course some problems are simply bugs in applications. In other words, your mileage may vary.
If you do encounter a problems with a King Stairs Software product that may be SP2-related, please let us know.
Only current versions of our products were tested for SP2 compatability; earlier releases of a product will not be checked, and may or may not have issues with SP2. Per our upgrade policy, updates are free of charge to licensed users, so you should consider updating to the current release.
