Licensing Problems
If you've purchased a license for Jot+ Notes or myTasks, but the application does not seem to be recognizing it, here are some likely causes (and solutions).
First check whether the license has in fact been installed: The Help|About command will indicate this.
License Not Installed
If you've just installed the application on a new computer, or had to reinstall it, the license will need to be installed again, per the instructions included with the license.
Temporary Licenses
When a license is purchased online, you normally receive a temporary license which allows you to continue using the application until your permanent license can be despatched. When you receive your permanent license, you should install it immediately.
Temporary licenses have expiry dates, beyond which they cannot be used.
Wrong Jot+ Notes Version
Jot+ Notes 2.x and 3.x use different licenses which are not interchangeable: A license for Jot+ Notes 2.5.5 cannot be used with Jot+ Notes 3.0.2, and vice versa.
