PRB: Cannot find "hsregex.dll" error on startup

Symptom: When Jot+ Convert is started, Windows displays an error along the lines of: "Cannot find required DLL: hsregex.dll".

Cause: The hsregex.dll is distributed with Jot+ Notes 2.x. Since Jot+ Convert is intended to be installed in the same folder as Jot+ Notes, it expects to find that DLL; if Jot+ Convert is installed in a separate folder, or if Jot+ Notes is not installed, the above error will occur.

Solution: First make sure Jot+ Notes is installed correctly. The uninstall Jot+ Convert and re-install it, making sure that it is installed into the same folder as Jot+ Notes. The Jot+ Convert setup program will try to work out where Jot+ Notes is installed, but it can get it wrong on occasion.

Note: This is only an issue with Jot+ Notes 2.x and Jot+ Convert 1.x - Jot+ Convert 2.x does not use this DLL.
