PRB: Application Enhancement Utilities

Application Enhancers are a class of utilities that modify or enhance the behaviour of other applications, such as adding features to file open/save dialogs or adding buttons to the window caption.

Because of the way these enhancers operate, they can interfere with the normal operation of Windows applications, such as Jot+ Notes and myTasks. Such interference can manifest in a number of ways, but most commonly by causing the application to crash.

If you are using any kind of application enhancer, and you encounter a problem in a King Stairs Software product, before reporting a fault, disable the enhancement and reboot; that may resolve the problem.

Please note that King Stairs Software does not provide support for application enhancers, and any problems caused by them should be addressed to the enhancer's author.
