Palm Support
Jot+ Notes is only available for the Windows platform currently, but that does not mean that Palm users are left in the lurch; Jot+ Notes supports a number of import/export formats which allow Palm users to move data between their Palms and Jot+ Notes on Windows.
Jot+ Notes supports many document formats, and the Jot+ Convert tool adds support for additional formats, including some specifically for Palm users.
PalmDoc
The PalmDoc format (also known as AportisDoc or just plain Doc) has become a de-facto standard for text documents such as e-texts. Jot+ Convert supports PalmDoc import and export.
There are many shareware and freeware document readers available which support PalmDoc.
It is worth noting that PalmDoc documents can also be read on other PDAs such as Psion.
Plain Text
For smaller notefiles, plain text is a perfectly usable transfer format.
HTML
Jot+ Notes's HTML export facility is somewhat basic, but it does a reasonable job. HTML files can be passed through third-party software such as iSilo's convertor to generate documents suitable for the Palm.
