Registering Jot+ Notes
Terminology
A common source of confusion is the terminology used: "Registering", "Ordering", "Purchasing", and "Licensing" all really mean the same thing: Purchasing an ongoing license for using Jot+ Notes.
What do I enter into the Registration Dialog?
Unless you have a full Jot+ Notes license (as opposed to an evaluation license), you will not be able to enter anything into the Registration dialog; just press Cancel to continue using Jot+ Notes in evaluation mode.
If you do have a full Jot+ license, instructions for entering the appropriate information can be found on the license document/e-mail.

My serial number and activation key/license key do not work
There are number of possible reasons for this:
- You are using the wrong license details: Jot 1.x, Jot+ Notes 2.x, and Jot+ Notes 3.x each use a different license, and they cannot be interchanged.
- You entered the user name incorrectly. You must enter the user name exactly as it appears in your license document.
- The activation key or license key was mistyped. Be careful of I vs 1, O vs 0. Current versions of Jot+ Notes can read licensing details from an e-mail message, which has dramatically reduced such problems!
